We like to know about you!
So, please share with us your interest in yoga, your background, practice history (style and years of practice) if relevant, your goals and aspirations. It is especially important to make us aware of any physical limitations, health concerns, medical issues or other areas of concern you may have.
Yoga is primarily a practice whereby we can refine our nature, uplift ourselves and expand our awareness.
Based upon their level of commitment, integrity of practice and desire
to share these teachings with others, some students may wish to
undertake teacher training.
However,
a majority of the students undertake long study in order to further
penetrate their practice not necessarily with the view to become a
teacher. It is a personal decision!
Teaching yoga is not as
glamorous or easy as many think. It requires much discipline, effort
and sacrifice. The commitment is total.
On the other hand, it can be very rewarding and satisfying to teach yoga if you feel you have what it takes.
You can give yourself some time if you are not sure. Take general
classes for a while and see how you feel about taking it further.
Anytime! You may begin a teacher training program whenever you wish. There are no set dates. Do let us know on advance when you intend coming and for how long. On completion of the training Master ji will issue a certificate specifying hours studied and division of program hours related each subject.
